First Class International Travel Tips : Leaving Pets When Traveling
Where to leave one’s pets while traveling can be a big concern for some who will be traveling for an extended period of time. Some people can leave their pets with family or friends, but others will have to board their pet when on vacation or traveling on business. There are a few things to consider before boarding a pet. Make sure the boarding place is clean and that the other animals will not harm each other. Dogs should be let out at least twice a day so that they can use the bathroom and get some exercise. If the boarding place does not have rooms for this, then it is best to go somewhere else. Ask friends and family where they board their pet. Most boarding places will only board cats and dogs. Other pets will have to be watched by other people.
Having a friend stop by while one is away is another alternative to boarding a pet somewhere. They can feed the pet, interact with them, and make sure they have everything they will need while the owner is away. Traveling can be stressful and not knowing how one’s pets are can make it worse. Having a reliable person watch pets while away will help a person have a better vacation or business trip. Pets need to be feed each day or left with enough food to get them through the days that a person is away. This will keep them healthy and happy even when their owner is gone.
