What to Pack when Traveling

          This is a question that most people ask themselves before they embark on a long trip. While it is important to pack essentials, many people differ on what those essentials actually are. Packing for a trip that will be longer than three or four days may require more than one bag. If possible, try to keep these bags small so that they can be carried through the airport easily. This will save time when going through airport security. If traveling by car, it is easier to travel with more bags. Cruise lines and buses may have restrictions as to how much baggage will be allowed. Check with cruise lines and bus companies before traveling.

          It is best to pack for both cold and warm weather as the temperature can change during the day. Pack three or four pairs of pants. These can be worn a few times while on a trip. If laundry facilities will be made available, then less can be packed. Take three or four shirts, and two pairs of shoes. If traveling to attend a special occasion, then pack what will be worn along with everything else. Packing should be take too long. Toothbrushes and other essentials can fit into smaller bags. This will save space for other items. Traveling should not be too stressful. Taking an entire wardrobe is not necessary. If a person forgets something, they can just do without it or buy another while traveling. There are many stores along the way where people can buy additional items for their trip.
