ViewTrip

ViewTrip is a personal travel website that displays up-to-the-minute itinerary information. The website can be used to view, print and e-mail your itinerary, electronic ticket receipt and electronic expense receipt on-line. Information is available in twenty-three languages. ViewTrip users can also access travel tools such as currency converters, passport and visa information, travel health advice and the latest information about specific events. ViewTrip is owned by Galileo International, a Travelport company.

ViewTrip provides real-time changes to any itinerary booked with a Galileo-connected agent on a 24 hour basis. The information is available for 24 hours after the last day of travel and is downloadable to Outlook or Lotus Notes calendars. Additional travel-related information includes destination weather forecasts and destination news. In order to view an itinerary, a user has to enter the 6 character reservation number provided by the travel provider, and enter the last name of the passenger corresponding to the 6 character reservation number.

ViewTrip has an electronic calendar application called Infuzer. This application copies dates from the ViewTrip Itinerary and inserts them as appointments or events into an electronic calendar. Infuzer can be downloaded from the ViewTrip website and supports both Internet Explorer and Netscape.
