Travelocity provides lowest fares from hundreds of airlines, last minute deals, hotel bookings, cruises, destination guides, and car rentals. For business travelers, Travelocity Business provides integrated online corporate travel technology.
Travelocity is the the second largest online travel agency in the United States. Travelocity guarantees its customers that the prices it offers are the lowest. In fact, they go on to say that if you find a lower rate for travel booked with Travelocity within 24 hours of booking, they would refund you the difference between what you paid and this lower price. Travelocity has even received the highest overall ranking in the Online Customer Respect Study, conducted by the Customer Respect Group, in 2003.
Travelocity operates multiple businesses both domestically and internationally, offering a larger number sites in 12 different languages. Other Travelocity brands include lastminute.com, site59, and holidayautos.com. Owned by the Sabre Holdings Corporation, the company also operates the world’s largest global distribution system (GDS) which connects travel agents with travelers.
