Wat Bo in Siem Reap

Wat Bo is a Buddhist temple situated in the corner of Street 22 and Samdech Tep Vong in Siem Reap, Cambodia. It is on the opposite side of the Siem Reap river from the main city center.

Walking there does not take much time. Since you are venturing outside of the tourist-infested city center, you get to see some parts of the Real Cambodia. You can see it in the picture of the road leading towards Wat Bo.

Near the temple is Wat Bo school and Smart Kids School so you will face a lot of traffic depending on the time of day that you go. The front of the temple is very pretty pictured below.

In Siem Reap, the temples have the steeples situated on the floor much like they do in Laos as you can see from the picture below.

It is a quick 20 minute walk from the city center here and very much recommended when you are looking for something to do but either too tired to venture off far or save a little on the Tuk Tuk money.
