Angkor Wat
Angkor Wat is one of the largest and most important temples of the Angkor National Park. In fact, it is believed to be the largest religious structure in the world. It was built back in the 12th century as a Hindu temple but has since been converted to Buddhist. The most popular time to visit the temple is to see sunrise. This means you will have to leave the city center as early as 5AM. But that's okay because the ticket counter to the park opens at 5AM.
To hire a tuk-tuk driver for a full day will cost you around 10-12 US Dollars -- but if you want to see the sunrise then they will generally charge you an extra $3 USD for waking up early.
One day ticket to the park (per person) - $20. Three day ticket - $40. So budget accordingly.
